Week 665 🐢🌷 Hand coloured or paper pieced image

Good morning to you all, Brenda here with a new challenge and this week we would like to see......

****Hand coloured or Paper Pieced images******

Any theme you choose as long as the focal element of your work incorporates either hand colouring or paper piecing (ready coloured images will not be eligible).

We are so pleased to introduce a new Design Team member this week, Dena from the USA is joining the team and you will find a link to her blog above her work below. Please join me in giving her a very warm welcome.

We have two prizes this week, a lovely Tonic die set from Colman's Craft Warehouse and three images of winners choice from Ruth Hamilton Design.

Can I please draw your attention to the following note as we are seeing more and more entries from third party hosing sites so feel we need to make everyone aware: We aim to comment on all entries at least once, usually more…but not all DT’s have access to third party hosts such as as Pinterest, Splitcoast, Flickr and Facebook so will be unable to leave a comment. However, as long as those entries are eligible for the theme they will still be included in draws and Top 5 picks.

Now for some inspiration from the Design Team to set you on your way, they have come up with a super display following the two options of this weeks theme......

Using Ruth Hamilton Design Tulips
Using Ruth Hamilton Design Primula
Using Ruth Hamilton Design Clematis Montana
Will be back soon

 Using Ruth Hamilton Design Daffodils
Using Ruth Hamilton Design Snowdrops

Week πŸ’• 664 "I love...."

Morning everyone Lynn here. First of all I want to say goodbye to Wendy who has been a member of the Allsorts DT since 2013. We are so sad to see you go Wendy and you and your beautiful creations will be missed so much. Thank you for being such a great teamie and always preparing your work in advance which we all appreciated so much.

For my challenge theme I have chosen "I love..". I've used this theme before and it was so popular and I hope it will be again. Just show us anything "you love" on your make. Remember it doesn't have to be a card, maybe you love another craft and you can show us some of your work.

We aim to comment on all entires at least once, usually more…but not all DT’s have access to third party hosts such as as Pinterest, Splitcoast, Flickr and Facebook so will be unable to leave a comment. However, as long as those entries are eligible for the theme they will still be included in draws and Top 5 picks.

This weeks patron Oakwood Archer will be releasing their new Spring stamps and stencils on the Craft Store 21st February at 9am and 1pm.

This week we have two prizes from Oakwood Archer, a bundle of craft goodies and a craft stencil.

Our retail store Oakwood Direct can be found here.

Here's the wonderful inspiration from the DT and some insight into what they love...

Winners and Top 5 for Week 663 CAS w/ Option of Elegance

Hello everyone, Ellie here again, it's time to announce our winners and my top 5 for my Clean and Simple with Option of Elegance theme! Thank you all so much for joining us, such a nice assortment of beautiful creations and selecting just 5 favorites was not easy!

But first let's talk about prizes. There are two this week:

We have a £15 store voucher kindly donated from WOWVOW to be used in their shop, and our second prize is an AALL and Create stencil from Colemans Craft Warehouse.

WOWVOW grew from a love of card making and a history of making wedding invitations. A family-owned business we supply carefully selected quality, card making and craft supplies but specialise in all the materials required to make your wedding stationery from ‘Save the Date’ cards and Wedding Invitations through to beautiful glitter guest books for the big day. From humble beginnings, our love of crafting has evolved into offices, a warehouse and a fabulous, dedicated team who not only offer amazing customer service but also pack every order with the utmost care.

And here are our winners:

No. 78 Kath claimed
No. 17 Loopyloo not claimed

Congratulations to both of you! Please be sure to message Brenda (info on the side bar) by Thursday February 24th with your full mailing info so Brenda can arrange for you to receive your prizes.

Week 663 🌱 CAS with option of Elegance

Hello everyone, Ellie here today bringing you a new theme for this week and I hope many of you will join us this time!

But before I get to the challenge, the team and I want to say a huge THANK YOU to dear Sarn who has been helping us out over the last few months! It's been so nice getting to know her a bit and we so appreciate her help as a temporary designer. Today is her last entry with us for now, but we are lucky as she will be back occasionally as a Guest DT. We want to wish her all the best and much success as she continues on with her blogging journey!

Back to the challenge.... for this week I selected the theme of....................

Clean and Simple (CAS) with option of Elegance

This means any CAS card will be perfectly fine, but if you like to challenge yourself a little bit more, you can add an option of elegance. Speaking of elegance, if you are looking for some elegant pieces to use on an upcoming project, do take a look at WOWVOW's site who kindly donated one of this week's prizes.
