Regarding Allsorts challenge

A difficult post to write but one which is necessary due to certain Social Media comments and accusations which have been made with regard to how the challenge is run.

The aim of the challenge since April 2009 has always been to provide a forum for crafters to share their artwork along with the opportunity to win prizes provided by a wide range of generous sponsors.

The Design Team, many of whom are long standing members give their time on a voluntary basis, do not receive any form of inducement and each week provide artwork as inspiration for our entrants and take time to comment on those entries.

I and in turn my team will not be intimidated by gossip or false claims about how the challenge is run. If any crafter has an issue about how the challenge is run then they are welcome to send me a personal e.mail from the link on the challenge blog sidebar. Social Media and closed formats are not the appropriate place and I on behalf of the challenge, my team and sponsors will report to the appropriate body, taking into account GDPR regulations, any such dialogue of which I/we have or may become aware.

Our aim is to provide a friendly environment for crafters and to this end we will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour or comments and regularly review those and our rules to ensure all remain in the best interest of our entrants as a whole.

Week 625 🎊 Our 12th Birthday - Anything with Happy Bright and Sunny Colours

Good morning everybody and welcome to our 12th Birthday celebrations here at Allsorts challenge. It's a bit of a long post this week as there are lots of things I need to tell you about.

During those twelve years we have seen so many changes in crafting styles and the variety of products available to us, but what has not changed is the continued support from all you lovely crafters. So many of you have been with us since the start but it's also encouraging to see new crafters popping up all the time as well, our thanks to each and every one of you.

Then there are our fabulous sponsors, how fortunate we are that every single week we are able to offer a prize, occasionally even two, a huuuuuge thank you to all of them for making this possible.

It's also really important that I take this opportunity to thank the Design Team as without them the challenge couldn't keep running, weekly challenges are hard work and my thanks to each of them. Which brings me on to introducing two new team members, please join me in welcoming Lolo and Lorraine, we are so happy to have you with us.

So with so much to celebrate it's only right that we have some special prizes and this week as well as our main prize of a Heartfelt collection, there will be eleven more, one for each year we are celebrating, yes twelve prizes so please share your creations and remember you can join in three times. In addition you may even find another prize or two on some of the DT's personal blogs

Our Birthday week prizes come from: Craft Stash, Chloes Cards, Tattered Lace, Crafting.co.uk, Sizzix and Bee Crafty.

And finally our theme for this week......

****Anything with Happy Bright and Sunny Colours****

So basically anything goes so long as it's bright and colourful and makes us smile when we see it. Have fun and we look forward to see all your creations.

You have until Friday 28th at noon GMT to enter our Birthday challenge, good luck.
