Morning all, this week it's Mummylade's turn to host the challenge (gosh, it's nice to talk about myself in third person, makes me feel like a sports star *lol*). Anyway, we have two sponsors for our challenge and the challenge is an easy one - use at least five flowers on your project.
Our first sponsor is:
The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop supplies ribbon, twine, embellishments, rubber stamps etc for crafters everywhere. New is stock for September are Catslife Press Stamps and our fabulous new Pretty Little Ribbon Packs which are available in a variety of gorgeous colours and at a great value price.
Who are offering 6 images of winners choice and All entries using a DSB image get to enter into the challenge twice.
So get your flowers out and overflow your projects! The design team will start you off with the creations below:
We are delighted to welcome Jo Channon as our Guest Designer for October who many of you will recognise from her regular appearances on Create and Craft. Jo does wonderful things with Spellbinders and this is the gorgeous creation she has come up with for is this week
Here is a little bit about Jo:
My name is Jo Channon and I have been crafting for many years firstly starting with dressmaking and swiftly followed by cross stitching. Through a natural course of events (as we all do) I eventually found the very addictive papercrafting which has seriously (in a good way!) effected by whole life. I now own my own craft shop in Coningsby, Lincolnshire called Let’s Create where I run regular workshops and demonstration days. It is a warm and friendly shop and the kettle is always on. Mark, my husband, works alongside me in the shop. I also have the great pleasure of representing Creative Expressions on Create and Craft on a regular basis with all the products that I love to work with – Spellbinders, Distress inks, Ideaology, Ranger and stamps. I have recently set up a blog which is going very well and I am really enjoying it.
Great challenge. Long time since I entered here :)

ReplyDeleteWhen I enter next time I will read them right. Debbiexx
I received a comment on my blog from Mummylade saying that my card isnt eligible for the draw because I don't have 5 flowers on my card. There is one flower embellishment on my card plus one of my designer papers is filled with flowers! Some of your DT examples have thier flowers on thier designer paper or image, so I'm not sure how mine doesn't count in the draw. Sorry If you feel I am not eligible, but I went by your DT examples so I felt mine was appropriate.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mummylade, for the updated comment. I realize I won't win since I made a spectacle of myself but the new comment makes me feel better! LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments Mummylade but i have counted my flowers again for entry no 172 and i definitely have 5 flowers on...3 on the ribbon and 2 in the corners.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how to delete my entry but feel free to do so
