Week 232 - White Christmas

A very good morning to you all, Brenda here just doing the finishing touches to Wendy's theme week as she is on her holibos at the moment, but she did leave a message (below) for you all before she went to tell you all about her theme.

So who was lucky enough to go to the Hobbycrafts show at  the NEC this week, or you may even be planning to go today or tomorrow ? I was fortunate and given the opportunity to go on Thursday and it was absolutely heaving so the organisers must be getting it right. It was probably the busiest I have ever seen in even at a weekend, but there seemed to be far more stands than last year and such a lovely variety as well, plus it's so nice to see other forms of crafting creeping into the show such as lush fabrics and yarns and a noticeable increase in beading.

And I was able to meet up with quite a few of our challenge sponsors such as Ali from Crafty Ribbons, Paula from Crafts U Love, Ruth from Stix 2, Ruth from A Passion for Stamps, Mark from Crafty Devils........sorry I've not named you all but as the day went on my mind went into a bit of a haze, but it was lovely to be able to thank you in person for your support, myself and the team really do appreciate it. And if I learnt one thing it was that two days would be far better than one as there is just so much to try and pack in.

It is my turn (Wendy L) to host the challenge this week and, although I am not home at the moment, I shall be later on today and I am looking forward to seeing all your creations featuring 'White Christmas'  (mostly white with a just a hint of colour if you wish).

We have two great sponsors again this week....................

Crimson Cloud with the great prize of the winners choice of three sets of die cuts. A mother/daughter venture - a way to indulge our joint passion of cardmaking and crafting. We only sell products that we have tried, tested and love using. We have developed our own exclusive range of digital stamps, svg files and "Make Your Own Card" kits which reflect our styles of card making - and hopefully yours too! They are giving the one lucky winner an Exclusive set of Crimson Cloud stamps.

FlonzCraft are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work hard for our work and store philosophy to reflect that in our company. We will never be ashamed of our products. Our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps and we have and unique collection of stamps that you can not find anything else. The are offering a $20 store voucher and all entrants to this weeks challenge can claim a 12% discount of all orders during this week.

Here are the gorgeous creations from our DT..................
