Allsorts week 83

Hi Everyone, Brenda here with a challenge for you, but before I tell you about the theme I have to say to say a huge huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week for Debs 'Last Minute Christmas' theme which proved more than a little popular and we had a record number of entries as well as amazing artwork.

As this will be a two week challenge I am keeping it simple to carry you over the holiday season and the theme could not be easier:

Free and Easy - Anything Goes

You can get ahead of the game and get an entry in before the 'BIG' day, or wait to see what Santa brings you and try out all those new goodies, or even do both and enter twice. Whatever you do, have fun and a really wonderful Christmas.

Our sponsor this fortnight is The Stampman who are offering one very lucky winner Kay's Shrink Plastic DVD with Aspects of Design No.29 Flitters and Flutters un-mounted stamp sheet. The Stampman sell a fabulous range of craft goodies and you can check out their store by clicking their logo below.

Week 81 Light up the night

Hi and thank you for the gorgeous entries for Amanda's Monochrome challenge,
it's my (Helene's) turn to host the Allsorts challenge this week and since I live way up in the northern parts of absolutely nowhere ;) winter brings serious darkness here. So I need your help to light up the night. Use a candle or other light on your cards or projects and dazzle me. It will warm my soul - and frozen fingertips.

So get going and
"LIGHT UP THE NIGHT"

Our sponsors this week are

6 images of the winners choice!
Dont forget if you use a Digistamp Boutique image you can enter your card/project twice with Mr Linky

and

Who are offering one winner this fabulous prize - Basics and Beyond DVD with Aspects of Design No.28 Double Delights un-mounted stamp sheet.

This month we are thrilled to have Kay Carley as our Guest Designer. Many of you will be familiar with Kay from Create and Craft. We asked Kay to tell us a bit about herself
Hi everyone! I am thrilled to be asked to be a Guest Designer for Allsorts this month. I have been crafting in one form or another all my life and through this I discovered rubber stamping about 10 years ago (I think!!). In fact I’ve been doing it so long now I’m not entirely sure just how long I have been stamping! Card making using rubber stamps and all the different techniques that go along with that is something that I really enjoy doing. Since I started on this particular craft I have been VERY fortunate as during this time I have contributed regularly to several UK crafting magazines, designed my own range of rubber stamps (which are available through The Stamp Man’s own stamp range called Aspects of Design), appeared on Create and Craft (thanks to Jill from The Stamp Man), demoed at some of the larger stamping shows on Stamp Addicts’ stand and made three DVD’s (through Traplet Publications) all based on rubber stamping. Nowadays I contribute projects now and again to Craft Stamper and Papercraft Inspirations magazines, teach classes regularly at The Glitter Pot and The Craft Barn and demo at their weekend events and am currently on The Craft Barn’s and The Stamp Man’s Design Teams.

Here's Kay's card

Allsorts week 80 Monochrome

Hello all and welcome to week 80 at Allsorts. Thanks to everyone who entered Kirsten's recipe theme, the entries were all lovely. Well done to the winner and top 5 people :o) This week it's my (Amanda) turn to set your theme and I've picked MONOCHROME. It doesn't have to be black and white, you can use shades of one colour or any colour and white.

Our sponsor this week is one of my favourite ribbon shops, in fact the only one I use! We are delighted to welcome Crafty Ribbons to Allsorts.

We are an online ribbon emporium, a treasure trove of lush drop dead gorgeous ribbons - and a few buttons! If you have not seen us online then do check us out at http://www.craftyribbons.com/.
Crafty Ribbons are really pleased to be sponsoring Allsorts challenge for the first time.

Ali is offering the winner a fabulous Funky Christmas Selection Box (and I can confirm the ribbons are lush as I have one of these)

Ali also made this scrummy necklace for the challenge
