Week 40 Challenge - a Tag, Ticket or Label

Hi Everyone

Saturday is here again and it is time for another challenge here at Allsorts!

This week it is my turn (Jules) to set the challenge but before I tell you what that involves I would just like to say "thank you" to everyone who entered into Debs' recipe challenge last week.
Make sure you check to see if you were our lucky winner or one of Debs' Top 5!! There were certainly lots of lovely creations for us all to drool over!!

So .. .. .. round to this week's challenge.

We have a new sponser this week in the form of Digital-Ink Co and this week our winner will receive

all of the Digital-Ink Co. images that the DT worked with

and here is a little bio about Digital-Ink Co. supplied by Judy
(I always think it is interesting to know how these places we love to visit and buy from came to be).

Hi, My name is Judy, (owner of Digital-Ink Co.) which was started in June of 2009.

My mother and I, create stamps under the name M&M Designz (M&M standing for Mom & Me), and there are six other incredible designers (Daisy Doodles, Stitchy Stamps, Stamp’en with CJ, Beary Dust Stamps, Lexi’s Creations, and Lil Diva Stamps) who create stamps for Digital-Ink Co. My goal, right from the start, has been to provide a wide variety of quality digital stamps where there is something for everyone, and just as important, at a price that everyone could afford. We have 10 to 20 new stamp releases every Wednesday in a wide range of styles and themes with a free weekly stamp to our newsletter subscribers.

As we continue to grow, we hope to become a friendly face in this vast community of stamps and card/crafting, and we are honored to be sponsoring this challenge here at Allsorts.

On behalf of the entire staff at Digital-Ink Co, we thank you and wish each and every one of you the best of luck in the challenge.

Sincerely,
Judy

So what is the challenge this week .. .. .. ... well I would like to see one of the following on your creation:

A tag, a ticket or a label

Below you will find all the lovely creations that the DT have produced using images from the Digital Inc Co.

As you will know, Helene (Mummylade), has only just joined our "happy gang" here at Allsorts so it was a little late for her to make a creation using a Digital Inc image .. .. she has however completed a project following the tag, ticket or label theme. (So you will not receive Helene's image in your prize as this was not a Digital Inc Co design).

We are all looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing what you create!!

Have a wonderful crafty week.

Week 39 - A Recipe with a Difference

Welcome to another week at here Allsorts .

Before I let you know the details of the new challenge theme I would like to welcome on board our fab new DT member - Helene - known as Mummylade. Helene is a truly gifted and inspiring crafter and I'm sure you all are looking forward to seeing her beautiful work as much as we all are.

Thank you to all that took part in Brenda's challenge last week - don't forget to check back to see who has won the fab prize from Sir Stampalot and who was Brenda's TOP5.

Following some discussion this week between the DT we thought it would be a good time to remind you of some of the 'rules' of this challenge blog. Whilst we don't have any objections to the number of challenges you enter as well as the Allsorts challenge - we do request that our theme is adhered to and therefore to be fair on those that have met the criteria we will have no alternative other than to disregard any entry that we feel has not kept to the given theme.

So, now that's out of the way, this week it was my (Debs) turn to choose the theme and I give you a recipe of ...................................

3,2,1 - you decide. Iwould like to see 3 of something, 2 of something else and 1 of another thing on your project - you can choose - it could be 1 image, 2 flowers, 3 brads or 1 flower, 2 images, 3 papers - whatever takes your fancy!! Just tell us what you have used in your post - in case it's not that obvious lol!!! As this is a recipe challenge there is 1 other ingredient to include - lots & lots of fun!! Can't wait to see what creative delights you come up with.

This week the challenge winner - picked by Random.org will win £10 worth of downloads of their choice from our regular monthly sponsor - Digistamp Boutique. Thanks Sally-Ann.
Here's Sally-Ann's take on the recipe:
3 papers, 2 flowers and 1 ribbon

And here's the gorgeous and inspirational work from the fab DT, please do pop over to each of their blogs and leave some kind words - I know they would really appreciate it.

3 Flowers, 2 Hearts, 1 Ribbon

Three eyelets, two cords and one charm

Emma

1 ribbon, 2 birds and 3 pieces of card candy...
1 tag, 2 charms, 3 flowers.

3 images, 2 flowers, 1 button

Jules

3 brads, 2 buttons, 1 ribbon

Lisa

3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 image

Winner and Top 5 week 38

Such lovely entries everyone and so many again this week. The DT really appreciate your continues support and for helping put Allsorts challenge firmly on the blogland map.

Needless to say with so many wonderful pieces of artwork I had a real task selecting my top 5 - I guess nobody said it should be easy did they. But first for the winner of the stamps, ribbon and buttons from our sponsor Sir Stampalot, as selected by Mr Randon Org:

Generator Min: 1

Max: 113

Result: 49

Powered by RANDOM.ORG

Please e.mail me brenda@ibas.co.uk with you full name and postal address so I can get your prize in the post. Not sure how long it will take to breach you in Spain, but will get it posted off a.s.a.p.

Now my Top 5, in no particular order:

Announcing our new DT member

Good morning everyone, hope you are all having a good week.

We know you have all been anxiously waiting for us to announce the name of our new DT and believe me when I say we have had a really difficult task. So many of you entered and with some wonderful work, so we decided the only fair and democratic way was to use a voting and points system with all the existing DT voting for their top three entrants.

Once the votes were counted (this is beginning to sound like Strictly Come Dancing isn't it) we had a winner and invited Helene to join us and are very pleased to say she has accepted. Helene has some wonderful artwork on her blog and I am sure you will all join us in giving her a big welcome to Allsorts.

Thanks to all of you, Allsorts has become firmly established as a popular challenge blog and we continue to be thrilled to see so many of you joining us every week. In May we celebrate our first Birthday and there are sure to be some special activities planned, so keep watching this space !

Allsorts challenge 38

Allsorts Challenge 38

Welcome to another Allsorts challenge where we continue to be amazed by all your entires and the DT really are having fun looking at all your wonderful creations. I am Brenda and this week it is my turn to host the challenge and I have chosen the theme:

"Get Distressed with Button/s and a bow"

Now I know you don't too much like messing with your beautiful DP's, but I hope I can persuade you to give them just a little 'roughing' up this week, apart from that what you create is entirley up to you. Our sponsor this week is Sir Stampalot who have provided a lovely prize for this week's winner.

Hero Art stamps, buttons and ribbon for the bow !

As many of you will know, Sir Stampalot were our very first sponsors and since then their business has expanded and last week they moved into their super new shop which will run alongside their on line store.

Last weeks challenge was a bit different and instead of selecting our Top 5 and a winner, we are choosing our new Design Team member. The DT have been looking round all your blogs this week and the votes will be collated over the next couple of days and will be doing a special post to announce the name of that lucky person. So don't forget to check back here after the weekend.
